In November of 2014 we had the opportunity to visit Japan with some of our family. We were in Japan for 2-1/2 weeks and spent part of the trip with our son Benjamin, his wife Heidi (who was born and raised in Japan), and their two daughters, Sarah (age 4) and Hannah (age 1). The trip had special meaning to us because Maxine's grandparents emmigrated from Japan to Canada, so she has connections to the culture and also some distant relatives there. We had been there once before, in 1997, and have always wanted to go back. This travelog is an account of our journey that we prepared both for our own rememberance and to share with family and friends. If it tempts you to visit Japan...go!
